Direct mail marketing has been the most sought after marketing medium for decades. Since the emergence of the US Postal Service, businesses have been marketing themselves in this nature. With the creation of the internet, more businesses started using email marketing to reach a larger audience at a fraction of the cost. Direct mail marketing is defined as any piece of mail that urges its reader to take action. This is called your “call to action.” Giving your readers a coupon or phone number to call allows you to track your response.
